About Dr. Hsu
Frank J. Y. Hsu, M.D. is a multi-board-certified specialist in pulmonary disease, internal medicine, and critical care medicine. He has had a private practice for nearly 40 years, including his time at Inland Pulmonary Medical Group.
Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Hsu graduated from the Taiwan University Medical School in 1972. A veteran of the Taiwanese Air Force, he served his compulsory military service as a lieutenant surgeon at Chia-Yi Air Force Hospital. Following a move to the United States, he was a medical intern for two years at the Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center in New York. He performed his residency at the same medical center from 1975 to 1977. He finished his time at the Brooklyn-Cumberland Medical Center with a fellowship in pulmonary disease that he completed in 1979.
Dr. Hsu holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pulmonary Disease, and the American Board of Critical Care Medicine. He is also certified by the State of California to act as an independent medical examiner and qualified medical evaluator. Dr. Hsu is active in the local medical community, having served as the chairman of the board of trustees at Chino Valley Hospital Medical Center and Doctor’s Hospital Medical Center of Montclair. He brings his experience as a research physician to Inland Pulmonary, having tested new medicine at REMEK Research from 2010 to 2015.
